Important Notice - 


Changes have been made in the admission process for free seats in government schools under the Right to Education Act (RTE) in Rajasthan. Now parents can apply for the admission of their children till 10th May 2024, and the lottery for these free seats will be conducted online on 13th May 2024. Apart from this, the rule for calculating the age of children getting free admission under RTE has also been amended. Now the age will be calculated from April 1, 2024 and the applications of the students who have applied as of July 31, 2024, will also be valid.


Important Information RTE Admission 2024 :-


The process of application for admission to free seats in government schools under the Education Officer Act (RTE) in Rajasthan has started from 3rd April 2024 and applicants can apply for their children till 10th May 2024. Furthermore, the reporting of applications will continue till 10th May 2024 and applicants can make corrections in their application form from 23rd April 2024 to 10th May 2024. The lottery for RTE related admission process will be held on May 13, 2024. Under the RTE Rajasthan 2024 scheme, poor children from lower classes can get admission in any private school, where 25% seats in non-government schools are reserved for children from weaker sections. Age Limit RTE Admission 2024 :-


In Rajasthan, the age of children getting free admission has been fixed according to the class by the Education Officer Act (RTE). For Pre-Primary (PP.3+) class, children should be at least 3 years old and maximum 4 years old. For Class-1, the age of children should be minimum 6 years and maximum 7 years. The last date of minimum and maximum age of children for admission in school should be completed on 31st July 2024 this year.

How to apply

    Candidates should first visit the official website at https://rajpsp.nic.in.

    Then, they should click on the option for online application.

    If the candidate is not registered, they should proceed to register anew. If already registered, they should log in.

    To log in, enter the application number, mobile number, and captcha code, then click on the application button.

    The candidate will encounter a form where they need to provide general information such as:-

    Children's caste

    Date of birth

    Total annual family income

    Whether the child is an orphan or not

    Gender of the children

    Whether the child is disabled or not

    BPL status

    Whether the children's mother is a widow or not

    After filling in the general information, another form will open where the following details need to be provided:-


    Children's names

    Children's Aadhaar numbers

    Children's religion

    Father's name

    Mother's name

    Father's Aadhaar number

    Mother's Aadhaar number

    Aadhaar number of the guardian

    Jan Aadhaar number

    Personal Identification Number of Jan Aadhaar

    The student must upload a photo, and essential documents are required for admission on a free seat.

    Photo Size - 20 KB and 525 x 420 JPG/JPEG

    Documents - Original residence proof, birth certificate, Aadhaar card.

    Candidates will encounter a form for selecting schools and locations, where they must choose their desired school. If they reside in a rural or urban area, they need to select accordingly. In rural areas, they must provide the ward number. Candidates can select up to five schools for their child. After this, a list of schools will be displayed, showing the candidate's selected school, medium of instruction, and an option to add. Once schools are added, the form will be completed, and candidates should keep a printout of the receipt.
