UPTET 2026 Application Fee
The application fee varies based on the category:
- General, EWS, OBC: Rs. 1000/- for a single paper
- SC, ST: Rs. 500/- for a single paper

Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, and other online modes.
Eligibility Criteria for UPTET 2026
Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:
Primary Level Teachers (Class 1 to 5)
A Bachelor’s degree from an NCTE-recognized institution along with a valid teacher training qualification (BTC, B.El.Ed, or equivalent). Final-year students are also eligible. A minimum of 50% marks in graduation or the training program is generally required.
Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8)
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% in certain cases) from an NCTE-recognized institution, along with a valid teacher training qualification (B.Ed, BTC, B.El.Ed, or equivalent). Final-year students are eligible. Candidates with specialized education qualifications from RCI-recognized institutes are also considered. In some instances, candidates with 50% marks in intermediate and a 4-year integrated teaching program can apply.
