AAI WR Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 36 Graduate & Diploma Posts

Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters, Western Region, Mumbai has released the notification for engagement of Graduate and Diploma Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961/2014/2025 for the training year 2026-27. The recruitment is being conducted through Advertisement No. 03/08/2026/APPRENTICE (Graduate/Diploma)/WR. AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 invites applications from eligible Degree and Diploma holders for apprenticeship training at various airports under the Western Region. Candidates belonging to Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and the Union Territory of Diu who reside near the listed airport locations are eligible to apply.

Vacancy Details

AAI has announced Graduate and Diploma Apprentice positions in various disciplines including Finance, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering and Human Resources. The number of vacancies mentioned in the notification is tentative and may be reduced or increased according to organisational requirements. A total of 36 posts are available.

Educational Qualification Conditions

• Degree/Diploma candidates should possess a full-time regular four-year Degree in Engineering or a full-time regular three-year Diploma in the relevant discipline from an AICTE-recognised institution.
• Candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum required marks are 45%.
• Candidates who have passed Degree/Diploma on or after 01 April 2022 are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have completed more than five years from the date of passing the qualifying examination as on the joining date will not be eligible.
• Candidates appearing in the final year examination and awaiting results may also apply, subject to fulfilling the required qualification at the time of joining.

Age Limit

The age limit for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 is calculated as on 31 July 2026.

Stipend

Selected apprentices under AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will receive a monthly stipend during the one-year apprenticeship training period.

Selection Process

The selection process for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be based on the percentage of marks obtained by candidates in their qualifying examination.

Selection Stages

• Shortlisting of candidates based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
• Interview and verification of certificates/testimonials.
• Submission of Certificate of Medical Fitness from a Gazetted Government Medical Officer or Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking at the time of joining.
• Police verification certificate from the local area of residence.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/document verification through their registered email ID only.

5. Apply for Airports Authority of India, Regional Headquarters, Western Region, Mumbai under the desired trade/discipline.
6. Upload required documents and submit the application through the NATS portal.
7. Keep a copy of the submitted application for future reference.
