The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, through its Examination Section, has issued a detailed recruitment advertisement (DRA) for the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE-5) 2026. This is a significant opportunity for eligible Indian nationals seeking various regular Non-Faculty Group-B and Group-C posts across numerous participating AIIMS and other Central Government Institutes/Bodies.

Important Dates:

• Date of uploading of Detail Advertisement & Commencement of online registration: 13th June 2026
• Closing Date for Online Registration: 3rd July 2026 (Upto 5:00 PM)
• Submission of NOC (for Govt. employees): 8th July 2026
• Date of status of application form for acceptance to appear in examination: 11th July 2026
• Date of CBT (Tentative): 25th to 27th July 2026
• Issue of Admit Card: As per Scheme of Examination
• Date of Skill Test: To be notified later

Participating Institutes:

The CRE-5 aims to fill vacancies in a wide range of prestigious institutions, including 23 AIIMS locations and 9 other Central Government Institutes/Bodies. Some of the key participating AIIMS include Awantipora, Bathinda, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, and many more. Other central bodies like Dr. RML Hospital, CNCI, ESIC, ICMR, and Safdarjung Hospital are also part of this recruitment drive.

Application Process:

• All candidates must apply online through the official website: www.aiimsexams.ac.in.
• The application process is entirely online; no physical documents are required to be sent.
• Candidates are advised to fill the online application form carefully as changes may not be possible after submission.
• Applicants applying for different post groups may need to fill separate applications for each group.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be eligible Indian nationals. Detailed eligibility criteria, including essential qualifications and age limits for specific Group-B and Group-C posts, are provided in the detailed advertisement (Annexure-I). Selection Process:

The selection process for CRE-5 will primarily involve a Computer Based Test (CBT). Depending on the specific post, a Skill Test may also be conducted for candidates who qualify in the CBT. The examination section of AIIMS New Delhi is responsible for conducting the CBT and other examination processes.
