The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur, has released a recruitment notification (Advt. No. Admn/Faculty/04/2026-AIIMS.JDH) for various Faculty Posts (Group ‘A’) on a direct recruitment basis. A total of 190 vacancies are available across 40 departments for positions such as Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

Professor, Additional Professor & Associate Professor - Generic Framework:

Non-Medical candidacy is available only for Anatomy, Biochemistry, and Physiology departments, requiring an additional Doctorate degree.

Assistant Professor - Department-wise Qualification (Examples):

• Anaesthesiology and Critical Care: MD in Anaesthesiology with 3 years experience.
• Dentistry: BDS + MDS (relevant specialty) with 3 years experience.
• Cardiology: MD + D.M. in Cardiology with 1 year experience (for 2/5-yr course) or nil (for 3/6-yr course).
• Hospital Administration: MD in Hospital Administration OR MHA (MCI/NMC recognized) with 3 years experience.

Candidates must hold a medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 for all medical posts. Experience is counted only after obtaining the essential qualifying degree. DNB equivalence rules apply as per MCI/NMC notification.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• Candidates with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 5 years
• Government Servant: 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 5 years (as per Govt. of India guidelines)

No age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved (UR) vacancies.

Pay Scale

In addition to basic pay, usual allowances admissible to Central Government employees and Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) for medically qualified candidates are provided. The probation period is 2 years.

The selection process for AIIMS Jodhpur Faculty Recruitment 2026 involves:

1. Shortlisting: Based on the bio-data submitted by candidates.
2. Personal Interview: Candidates will be called for a Personal Interview.

There will be no written examination for these posts.
