• Additional Professor: 17 posts (SC-3, ST-1, OBC-6, EWS-1, UR-6)
• Associate Professor: 15 posts (SC-4, ST-2, OBC-5, EWS-1, UR-3)

Vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. 4% horizontal reservation for PwBD is applicable. All vacancies earmarked for SC, ST, and OBC are backlog vacancies except the post of Professor in Community and Family Medicine.

AIIMS Rajkot Faculty Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification:

• For Medical Candidates (all posts): A medical/dental qualification included in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
• Postgraduate qualification: MD / MS / MDS or equivalent in the respective discipline.
• DM (Medical super-specialties) or MCh (Surgical super-specialties) - 2/3/5-year recognized course.

For Non-Medical Candidates (applicable to Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology only): Master's Degree in the discipline/allied subject.

Doctorate degree from a recognized university in the concerned discipline.

The selection process involves multiple stages:

AIIMS Rajkot Faculty Pay Scale 2026 (7th CPC)

*NPA (Non-Practising Allowance) applicable for medically qualified candidates only. After 3 years, Assistant Professors move to Level 13 (Basic ₹1,23,100).
