Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has announced recruitment for 6 Scientific Assistant (Para-Medical) posts. This is a direct recruitment drive for Group 'B' positions within the Department of Atomic Energy.

The vacancies are for the following positions:

• Scientific Assistant/C (Psychologist): 1 Post
• Scientific Assistant/B (Pathology): 1 Post
• Scientific Assistant/B (Radiography): 2 Posts
• Scientific Assistant/B (Nuclear Medicine Technologist): 2 Posts

All 6 posts are Unreserved (UR).

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational qualifications vary by post:

• Scientific Assistant/C (Psychologist): Graduation in Psychology (min 60%) + Post Graduation in Applied Psychology/Psychology (min 50%) with specialization in Clinical or Counselling Psychology. One year experience preferred.
• Scientific Assistant/B (Pathology): B.Sc (min 60%) + PG Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) (min 60%) OR B.Sc (Medical Lab Technology) (min 60%).
• Scientific Assistant/B (Radiography): B.Sc (Radiography) (min 60%) OR B.Sc (min 50%) + one year Diploma in Radiography.
• Scientific Assistant/B (Nuclear Medicine Technologist): B.Sc (min 60%) + DMRIT/DNMT/DFIT (min 50%) OR B.Sc (NMT) (min 60%).

Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 18.08.2026. Upper age relaxation applicable as per rules.

Salary:

• Scientific Assistant/C (Psychologist): Level 7 (₹44,900)
• Scientific Assistant/B (Pathology, Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technologist): Level 6 (₹35,400)

Plus admissible allowances.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on a Personal Interview. A screening test may be conducted if the number of applications is high.
