Eligibility Criteria:

• Nationality: Candidates must be original residents of Bihar to avail reservation benefits.
• Educational Qualification: Associate Professor: Doctoral degree in the relevant subject with 8 years of experience or 8 years of post-doctoral research. A basic undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science is essential.
• Assistant Professor: Master's degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in the relevant subject. NET is compulsory, or a Ph.D. with specific publication criteria.

Age Limit:

• Associate Professor: No upper age limit.
• Assistant Professor: Varies by category (UR Male: 37 years, BC/EBC Male & Female: 40 years, UR Female: 40 years, SC/ST Male & Female: 42 years). Age relaxations apply.

Salary/Pay Scale:

• Associate Professor: Rs. 1,31,400 – 2,17,100 (Academic Level-13A)
• Assistant Professor: Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400 (Academic Level-10)

• UR/BC/EBC: Rs. 1,000/-
• SC/ST and Divyang: Rs. 250/-

The fee must be paid by Bank Draft in favour of "Finance Comptroller, Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna", payable at Patna. Fee relaxation is applicable only to original residents of Bihar.
