Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification has been released for 3,500 Graduate Apprentice training seats for FY 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The online application process starts on 01 October 2026 and eligible candidates can apply up to 17 October 2026.

Important Dates

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Degree or Graduation in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. The graduation must have been completed not earlier than 01 January 2023 and not later than 01 September 2026.

The age of the candidate should be between 20 and 28 years as on 01 September 2026. Applicable age relaxation will be available to eligible reserved categories as per the recruitment notification.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹500 including intimation charges for candidates other than SC, ST and PwBD categories. SC, ST and PwBD candidates are exempt from the application fee.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a state-wise merit list prepared using marks obtained in the 12th standard or Diploma, followed by document verification and the local language test wherever applicable. Selected candidates must also satisfy the prescribed medical fitness requirements.

Stipend and Training

The apprenticeship training period is 12 months. Selected Graduate Apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹16,650 per month, including the applicable Government of India subsidy amount.
