• Research Officer (Unani): PG Degree (MD or MS) in Unani System of Medicine from NCISM/CCIM recognized university, plus enrolment on Central/State Register. Age: up to 40 years.
• Research Officer (Pathology): MD in Pathology from MCI-recognized university. Enrolment on Central/State Register. Age: up to 40 years.
• Research Officer (Physiology): Master's Degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Human Genetics/Genetics Engineering with 3 years' research experience OR Ph.D. Age: up to 40 years.

Group B - Key Posts

• Asst. Research Officer (Pharmacology): M.Sc. in Pharmacology or M.V.Sc. Age: up to 30 years.

• MLT: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science with 2 years' relevant experience. Age: up to 35 years.
• Library & Information Assistant: Degree plus Degree in Library Science. Age: up to 28 years.

Group C - Key Posts

• UDC: Degree from a recognized university. Age: 18-27 years.
• LDC: 12th class pass with typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer. Age: 18-27 years.
• Stenographer Grade-III: Matric/equivalent plus shorthand speed of 80 wpm and typewriting speed of 40 wpm. Age: up to 28 years.
• Staff Car Driver: Matriculation pass, valid LMV driving license, 3 years' driving experience, vehicle maintenance knowledge. Age: 18-25 years.
• MTS: Matriculation/equivalent pass OR ITI pass in relevant subject. Age: 18-25 years.
• Compounder: Matric or equivalent plus minimum 1-year training certificate as Compounder in Unani System, plus 2 years' experience. Age: 28 years and below.
• Pharmacist: 10+2 with Science plus 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy plus registration. Age: 18-25 years.

Age Relaxation Summary

Age relaxation is provided as follows: SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD (UR) (10 years), PwBD (OBC-NCL) (13 years), PwBD (SC/ST) (15 years). Maximum age after all relaxations shall not exceed 56 years. Domiciled in J&K (1 Jan 1980 - 31 Dec 1989) candidates get 5 years' relaxation.

Application Fee - CCRUM Recruitment 2026

The application fee includes a non-refundable Processing Fee and an Examination Fee. SC/ST, PwBD, EWS, Women, and Ex-Servicemen are exempt from the Examination Fee but must pay the Processing Fee.

Selection Process - CCRUM Ayush Vacancy 2026

Group A Posts (Research Officers):

• Online CBT: 70 marks (Subject knowledge + Research methodology + General awareness)
• Interview: 30 marks
• Minimum qualifying marks: 25% for SC/ST/PwBD; 30% for all others.

Group B & C Posts:

• Online CBT: 100 marks
• Skill Test: Mandatory and qualifying for LDC, Stenographer Grade-III, Staff Car Driver, and other applicable posts.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 25% for SC/ST/PwBD; 30% for all others.

Negative Marking: 0.25 mark deduction for each wrong answer in CBT for all posts except MTS (no negative marking). Exam Duration: 100 minutes (130 minutes for PwBD with scribe). Exam Centers: New Delhi/Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Guwahati. Tie-Breaking Rules: Older age, higher subject marks, higher marks in the second part of the syllabus, earlier degree/diploma completion, higher final aggregate percentage.
