CSIR-CFTRI has announced a recruitment drive for one (01) position of Part-time Doctor (Allopathic System) on a purely temporary and contractual basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The essential educational qualification for the Part-time Doctor position is an MBBS degree from a recognized University/Institute.

Desirable Qualification(s) / Experience

• Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Medicine/ Family Medicine/ Paediatrics/ Obstetrics & Gynaecology or equivalent (M.D. preferred).
• Candidates having 01 year of experience in a Government/Private Hospital will be given preference.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is not more than 64 years as on the date of the Walk-in-Interview.

Selection Process

1. Walk-in-Interview: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are required to attend a Walk-in-Interview.
2. Document Verification: Candidates must report for document verification before the interview.

The selection will be purely based on the performance in the Walk-in-Interview. Preference will be given to candidates possessing the desirable qualifications and/or experience.

Salary / Pay Scale

The selected candidate will be paid a consolidated honorarium of ₹46,020/- (Rupees Forty Six Thousand and Twenty only) per month for performing 03 hours of duty per day.

No other allowances or facilities will be provided apart from the honorarium.

• No Objection Certificate (NOC), wherever applicable
• PPO (if superannuated from Government service)
• 02 recent passport-size colour photographs

General Terms and Conditions

• The engagement is purely temporary and on a contract basis for an initial period of 06 months, extendable for a further period based on satisfactory service.
• The candidate will not have any right for regularization or absorption against any CSIR/CSIR-CFTRI post(s).
• Income tax or any other tax liability will be deducted at source.
• Confidentiality of patient data must be maintained.
• The engagement may be terminated by the office with a 30-day notice.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining.
• No accommodation will be provided by CSIR-CFTRI.
• Candidates failing to bring original certificates will not be permitted to appear for the interview.
