CSIR – National Institute of Oceanography (CSIR-NIO), Goa is inviting applications for Apprenticeship Training for 27 slots. This is a one-year apprenticeship program offering valuable work experience and a stipend of ₹10,900 to ₹12,300 per month.

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (Stipend ₹10,900):

Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices (Stipend ₹12,300):

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in relevant engineering trade for Technician posts; Bachelor's degree in any discipline/science/library science/nursing/hotel management/visual arts for Graduate posts.
• Age Limit (as on 6 July 2026): 18-24 years for Technician, 21-26 years for Graduate. Age relaxation applicable as per Govt. rules.
• Other Conditions: Passed qualifying exam in 2022-2026, registered on NATS portal, no prior apprenticeship experience.

Selection Process:

Selection will be through a Walk-in Interview on 6 July 2026. Candidates must report between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM. A written test may be conducted if the number of applicants is large.
