Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Retired/Superannuated officers of the Army Medical Corps (AMC) holding the rank of Colonel or above.

Experience

• At least 05 years’ experience in Hospital Administration.

Age Limit

• The age ceiling for continuation of contract shall be 65 years as on the date of renewal of contract on year-to-year basis.

Selection Process

Salary / Pay Scale

The monthly remuneration for the Hospital Administrator will be fixed as per the formula of “Last Pay minus Pension”, excluding Dearness Allowance (DA). The amount of remuneration will remain unchanged for the entire term of the contract. No annual increment or percentage increase will be admissible during the contract period.

Additionally, an appropriate and fixed amount towards Transport Allowance for commuting between the place of residence and the place of work will be allowed, not exceeding the rate applicable at the time of retirement. This amount will also remain unchanged during the entire term of the appointment.

Working Hours and Leave

The Hospital Administrator will be required to observe normal office timings between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday to Saturday). They may also be called upon to attend office beyond working hours and on Sundays or holidays in case of exigencies of work, with no extra remuneration paid for such extra hours or holidays.

Mandatory biometric attendance marking is required; failure to do so may result in remuneration deduction. The Hospital Administrator will be eligible for 1.5 days of leave for each completed month of service, which cannot be accumulated beyond a calendar year.
