DPCC Trainee Recruitment 2026 Notification Out!

The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), under the Department of Environment, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, has officially released notification F. No. DPCC/3(9)(412)/Admn-2026/ for the engagement of Trainees. This is a golden opportunity for eligible candidates to join as Technical and Scientific Trainees on a contractual basis with an attractive monthly stipend.

Vacancy Details

A total of 150 tentative vacancies have been announced for Trainee posts. The distribution between Technical (B.E./B.Tech) and Scientific (M.Sc.) Trainees is approximately in the ratio of 10:01. Reservation guidelines of GNCTD/DoPT will be applicable.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed the requisite qualifying examination in the year 2023 or later with a First Division on a Full Time Regular basis from a Recognized University/Institution.
• Technical Trainee: Bachelor Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) in Civil / Environmental / Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical / ECE / Biomedical Engineering / Water Resources / Remote Sensing / GIS / Hydrology or Equivalent.
• Scientific Trainee: Master's Degree in Science (M.Sc.) in Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Science / Chemistry / Environmental Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Toxicology or equivalent.
• Preference: Candidates with a valid GATE/NET score from 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 will be preferred.
• Ineligibility: Candidates who have previously served as Trainees with DPCC are not eligible.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on merit, prepared in two stages:

1. Primary Merit: Based on qualifying GATE/NET scores from 2023 examination or later.
2. Secondary Merit: If insufficient candidates are available from Primary Merit, selection will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination passed in 2023 or later.

A wait-listed panel will be prepared, valid for one year, for future engagements.

Candidates must attach copies of GATE/NET marks (if applicable) and qualifying examination mark sheets (passed in 2023 or later), along with a valid Caste Certificate for reservation benefits.
