Fellowship Amount

Selected candidates will receive the following monthly fellowship:

In addition, candidates will receive House Rent Allowance (HRA) and medical facilities as per DRDO rules.

Fellowship Duration

• Research Associate (RA): 2 Years
• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 2 Years (Extendable and may be upgraded to SRF as per DRDO rules).

Educational Qualification

Research Associate (Physics / Materials)

Candidates should possess:

• Ph.D. in Physics/Materials or equivalent

OR

• M.Sc. in Physics/Materials with at least 3 years of Research, Teaching, or Design & Development experience, along with one research paper published in an SCI Journal.

Research Associate (Electronics)

Candidates should possess:

• Ph.D. in Electronics or equivalent

OR

• M.E./M.Tech in Electronics with 3 years of Research, Teaching, or Design & Development experience and one SCI Journal publication.

Junior Research Fellow (Chemistry)

Candidates must have:

• M.Sc. (Chemistry) with First Division
• Qualified CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or JEST.

Junior Research Fellow (Physics)

Candidates must have:

• M.Sc. (Physics) with First Division
• Qualified CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or JEST.

Junior Research Fellow (Mechanical)

Candidates should possess:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with First Division and NET/GATE qualification

OR

• M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with First Division in both Graduation and Post Graduation.

Age Limit

• Research Associate (RA): Maximum 35 Years
• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Maximum 28 Years

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules:

• SC/ST/PH: 5 Years
• OBC: 3 Years

Selection Process

The selection will be based solely on a Walk-in Interview.

Important Instructions

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply for the RA fellowship, subject to the award of the degree before the fellowship offer.
