DSSSB Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 1,260 Junior Engineer and MTS Posts

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 06/2026 for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE) and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts. A total of 1,260 vacancies have been announced under this recruitment.

The vacancies include Junior Engineer (Electric/Electrical), MTS General Duty and MTS Aaya (Female) posts. Candidates who have passed Class 10 or possess ITI, Diploma or Engineering qualifications can apply according to their eligibility.

Educational Qualification

The educational qualifications vary depending on the post.

1. Junior Engineer (Electric/Electrical)

• B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering.
• OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• For certain departments, Diploma holders must have 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Some departments, including Delhi Transco Limited, allow candidates with the prescribed qualifications to apply without experience.

2. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

• Passed Class 10 from a recognized board.
• For certain DUSIB posts, Class 10 or ITI qualifications are accepted.
• Previous work experience is generally not required for MTS posts.

3. MTS Aaya (Female)

• Passed Class 10 or an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit

Examination Details:

• Exam Duration: 2 Hours.
• Exam Mode: Objective Type (MCQ).
• Total Questions: 200.
• Total Marks: 200.
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Junior Engineer candidates will have to appear for a separate Two-Tier Technical Examination.
