DVC Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 108 Engineering Posts, Eligibility, Salary and Selection Process

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has released the official notification for DVC Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026, inviting applications for 108 Executive Trainee vacancies across five engineering disciplines.

The recruitment includes Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Control & Instrumentation (C&I), and Mining Engineering posts. Eligible engineering graduates with a valid GATE 2025 score can apply online through the official DVC website.

Selected candidates will receive a salary under Pay Level 10 of the 7th Pay Commission, with a pay scale of ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline from an AICTE-approved or appropriately recognized university/institution.

Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have a valid GATE 2025 score in the corresponding engineering paper.

Only Indian nationals are eligible. Candidates can apply for only one discipline.

Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary under the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Probation and Service Bond

• Selected candidates will undergo one year of probation.
• The service agreement requires a minimum total commitment of four years, including probation.
• General/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates: ₹5,00,000 bond.
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates: ₹2,50,000 bond.
• Applicable interest may also be charged according to the agreement.

Selection Process

DVC Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 does not involve a separate written examination or interview.

The selection process consists of:

1. GATE 2025 Score: Candidates will be evaluated based on marks obtained out of 100 in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper.
2. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted in merit order for Document Verification, generally at a ratio of 1:5 or more against category-wise vacancies.
3. Document Verification: Original educational, identity and category certificates will be verified.
4. Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates must qualify in the pre-employment medical examination conducted by the DVC Medical Board.

The final selection will be based on the prescribed GATE merit and verification requirements.
