ESIC Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: 128 Posts Walk-in Interview

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has announced a recruitment drive for 128 Senior Resident (3 Years Tenure) positions on a contractual basis. Vacancy Details (Total: 128 Posts)

Senior Resident (Non-Clinical) - 17 Posts (Walk-in: 30.05.2026)

Senior Resident (Clinical) - 111 Posts (Walk-in: 29.05.2026 for Clinical; 28.05.2026 for Super Specialties)

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on the date of Interview)

• Broad Specialties (Clinical and Non-Clinical - General): Upper age limit: 45 years
• Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology (Non-Clinical): Upper age limit: 50 years
• Age relaxation applicable as per Central Government rules.

Educational Qualification

• Senior Resident (Clinical / Non-Clinical): Medical PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in concerned specialty from MCI/NMC recognized Medical Institution/Hospital. OR Postgraduate medical degree (M.Sc with Ph.D) in Medical Anatomy, Biochemistry, or Physiology. Must be registered under MCI/NMC/State Medical Council.
• Senior Resident (Dental): Post-Graduate Degree (MDS) in a dental specialty. Registered with Dental Council of India (DCI) / State Dental Council.
• Senior Resident (Super Specialties): DM/MCh/DNB in the concerned subject. OR MD/MS/DNB qualified graduates in the concerned broad specialty.

Note: Candidates who have completed 3 years tenure as Senior Resident in any Government Institution need not apply. Candidates on bond are not eligible unless they provide a Bond Clearance Certificate.

Pay & Allowances

Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 1,48,669/- per month + Transport Allowance + DA on Transport Allowance. (NPA will be deducted for Non-Medical candidates).

Application Fee

Fee payable by Demand Draft only, drawn in favour of "ESI Fund Account No.1", payable at Kolkata.

Demand Draft must be issued after 11.05.2026.

How to Apply (Walk-in Interview)

Interested and eligible candidates must appear in person for the Walk-in-Interview on the scheduled date for their respective department/specialty.

• Reporting Time: 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Candidates reporting after 10:30 AM will NOT be considered.
• Venue: Academic Block, 2nd Floor, ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka, Kolkata – 700104.
• Documents to Submit: Completed Application Form (Annexure-I), Verification Slip (Annexure-II), Demand Draft (if applicable), original documents and one set of self-attested copies of all educational qualifications, registration certificates, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate (if any), bond clearance certificate (if applicable), NOC (if applicable), and 02 recent passport-size photographs.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a Walk-in-Interview with document verification. If the candidate turnout is more than a 1:10 ratio per post, a screening test (MCQ) may be conducted, but final selection will be solely based on interview performance.
