Qualification

Candidates must hold a Full Time Regular Course in B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.)/IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 65% marks or Equivalent CGPA in the following disciplines:

• Executive Trainee (Electrical): Electrical/Electrical (Power)/Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering/Power Engineering (Electrical)
• Executive Trainee (Computer Science): Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology

Final Year/Semester students expecting results by 2027-08-14 are also eligible, provided they meet the aggregate percentage criteria up to the pre-final examination.

GRID-INDIA Executive Trainee Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be placed at E2 level in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000/- IDA during a one-year On-The-Job Training (OJT). Upon successful completion of training, Executive Trainees will be regularized at the same E2 level with additional allowances and benefits including Performance Related Pay, HRA, conveyance, mobile facility, Group Insurance, PF, Gratuity, Pension, Leave encashment, Loans & Advances, and medical facilities.

GRID-INDIA Executive Trainee Service Agreement Bond

Selected Executive Trainees must execute a service agreement bond to serve the organization for at least three years after training. The bond amount is Rs. 5,00,000/- for General/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates and Rs. 2,50,000/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

The non-refundable application fee is Rs. 500/-, payable online. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment.
