GSSSB Junior Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the last date of application (25-06-2026). Only Indian Citizens or those with nationality as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 (Rule 7) are eligible to apply.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from a recognized University/Institution; OR
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University/Institution with about 2 years experience as Junior Pharmacist in Government/Government Undertaking/Board or as Dispenser in hospital/dispensary or as Pharmacist/Medical Representative in a pharmaceutical company.
Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967.
Language: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Pharmacy Council Registration: Required to register with the Gujarat State Pharmacy Council at the time of appointment, if not already registered.
Nationality: Indian Citizen or as per Rule 7 of Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
Security Bond: Appointed candidates may be required to furnish a security and surety bond.

Candidates must pay the examination fee online only through the OJAS website. Fee payment last date is 28-06-2026. Fee paid by candidates who appear for the examination will be refunded. Fee will NOT be refunded if the candidate does not appear for the examination or if the application is rejected.

Selection will be based on a single-stage Competitive Written Examination (objective-type MCQ) conducted via CBRT or OMR method. The exam will have two parts:

- Widow Candidates: 5% bonus marks on total marks obtained in the written exam for priority in selection, subject to proof of non-remarriage.
- Sports Candidates: 5% bonus marks on total marks obtained in the written exam for priority in selection, subject to valid certificates.
GSSSB Junior Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 – How to Apply
Only online applications will be accepted through the official OJAS website. Candidates are advised to apply well before the closing date.
- Visit the official OJAS website: https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in
- Click on "Online Application" → Click on "Apply" → Select "GSSSB".
- Select Advertisement No. 415/2026-27 – Junior Pharmacist, Class-3 and click "Apply Now".
- Fill in Personal Details and Educational Details carefully.
- Accept the declaration and click "Save" to generate the Application Number.
- Upload Photograph (5 cm × 3.6 cm, JPG, max 15 KB) and Signature (2.5 cm × 7.5 cm, JPG, max 15 KB).
- Click "Confirm Application" after verifying all details. Once confirmed, no changes can be made.
- Note the Confirmation Number generated after confirmation for future correspondence.
- Pay examination fee online via Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or Wallet before 28-06-2026.
- Download and print the application form and preserve it till the entire recruitment process is complete.
