HAL Junior Executive Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 150 Engineering Posts

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has announced recruitment for Junior Executive positions on a Short Term Basis. A total of 150 Junior Executive vacancies are available across multiple engineering disciplines.

As per Advertisement No. HAL/CHRC-TAR/RECT-03/2026, the online application process started on October 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the HAL Careers portal up to October 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

One of the key features of this recruitment is that no separate written examination will be conducted. Candidates will first be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in their qualifying engineering degree and shortlisted candidates will then be called for an Interview.

HAL has announced 150 Junior Executive vacancies across nine engineering disciplines.

Mechanical Engineering has the highest number of vacancies with 78 posts, followed by Electrical Engineering with 25 and Electronics Engineering with 21 posts.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess a Regular or Full-Time Degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized University or Institute.

The recruitment covers eligible branches related to Aeronautical, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Metallurgy and Production Engineering.

Candidates holding a 5-year or 6-year Integrated Engineering Degree may also be considered subject to the conditions specified in the official notification.

Minimum Marks Required

The aggregate percentage will be calculated on the basis of the total marks obtained and maximum marks across all semesters/years of the qualifying degree. Candidates should carefully follow the percentage calculation method specified by HAL.

Important: Correspondence, Distance Education, Part-Time and E-Learning qualifications are not eligible where the notification requires a Regular/Full-Time qualification.

HAL Junior Executive Age Limit 2026

The age of candidates will be calculated as on October 17, 2026.

• Maximum age for UR/EWS candidates: 28 years
• SC/ST candidates: Relaxation of 5 years
• OBC-NCL candidates: Relaxation of 3 years
• PwBD candidates: Additional relaxation as per applicable rules
• Other eligible categories: Relaxation as specified in the official notification

Application Fee

The application fee varies according to the candidate's category.

The ₹500 fee includes 18% GST. Eligible candidates have to make the payment through SBI Collect. SC, ST and PwBD candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.

HAL Junior Executive Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be placed in the E0 Pay Scale (2017):

₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000

The initial Basic Pay is ₹30,000. Other benefits such as DA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowance will be applicable as per the terms and conditions of the engagement.

An annual increment of 3% on Basic Pay is applicable during the second and third years, subject to the prescribed conditions.

Junior Executive Engagement Period

The Junior Executive positions are offered on a Short Term Basis.

The engagement period can extend up to a maximum of 3 years. After completion of the specified tenure, the engagement will come to an end as per the terms of the notification.

This short-term appointment does not automatically provide a right to regular employment in HAL.

HAL Junior Executive Selection Process

There will be no separate written examination for this recruitment.

The selection process will mainly consist of:

Eligible candidates will be arranged in merit based on the aggregate marks obtained in their qualifying Engineering Degree.

Candidates will generally be shortlisted for the Interview up to a maximum ratio of 1:10 against the available vacancies in each discipline and category.

Meeting the minimum educational qualification alone does not guarantee an Interview call.

2. Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview before the Selection Committee.

Details regarding the Interview date, time and venue will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through e-mail and will also be published on the HAL website.

Candidates must obtain the prescribed minimum marks in the Interview to remain eligible for final selection.
