High Explosives Factory (HEF), Khadki, a unit of Munitions India Ltd. under the Ministry of Defence, has announced a recruitment drive for 85 Tenure Based Chemical Process Worker (CPW) personnel. These positions are on a contract basis for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of four years, depending on factory requirements and individual performance.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Citizen of India.

Educational/Technical Qualification

• Candidates must possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC/NCVT) issued by NCVT (formerly NCTVT).
• Primary Trade: AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant).
• Feeder Trades: IMCP, MMCP, LACP, PPO, Fitter General, Machinist, Turner, Sheet Metal Worker, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, Mechanic Industrial Electronics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.

Priority Order for Consideration:

1. AOCP Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories, AOCP Trade Apprentices from Govt./Private organizations having Govt. affiliation, and candidates already engaged on Tenure Basis as CPW/DBW with a 3-month training certificate from MIL Group of Factories.
2. Only if the required number of candidates is not available from these categories, candidates from other feeder trades will be considered for the Trade Test.

Pay & Remuneration

Selected candidates will receive a competitive remuneration package:

• Basic Pay: Rs. 19,900/- + Dearness Allowance (DA) as per Central DA rates.
• Rate of Pay: 1/30th of the basic pay plus DA for 8 hours of work per day.
• House Rent Allowance (HRA): As per classification of cities (when Company Quarter is not available).
• Annual Increase: 3% (rounded to next ten rupees) on Basic Pay during tenure, subject to satisfactory performance.
• Other Benefits: EPF, coverage under Employee's Compensation Act 1923, Bonus (if applicable), Night Duty Allowance, Risk Allowance, 30 days' leave per year, safety and protective gear, Maternity Benefits for female personnel.

Note: Tenure Based Personnel are NOT entitled to Promotions, OT Allowance, Loans/Advances, Medical Facilities, LTC/LTA, Study Leave, etc., and this engagement does not confer any right to claim the status of a regular employee.

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on a merit list prepared from the following components:

1. NAC (NCVT) Mark Sheet: 80% weightage.
2. Trade Test/Practical Test: 20% weightage.

HEF may decide a cut-off percentage for calling candidates for the Trade Test based on NAC marks. Candidates qualifying in the NAC and Trade Test/Practical Test will be called for Document Verification.
