Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released notification for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts in Haryana and Mewat Cadre. The online application process has started from 25th July 2024 and candidates can apply till 14th August 2024. A total of 3069 posts have been announced in this recruitment. Application Fee
Candidates applying for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts in Haryana and Mewat cadre will have to pay the application fee. The application fee for General Male and Other State Male candidates is Rs.1000/-, while for General Female and Other State Female candidates, Rs.250/- has been fixed. SC/BCA/BCB/ESM/EWS category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.250/-, while no fee will be charged from the candidates of Disabled (Haryana Resident) category. Candidates have to pay the application fee before the due date. The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI or other payment modes.

Age Limit
Candidates applying for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) positions in the Haryana and Mewat cadre must be at least 18 years old and no older than 42 years. The age of the candidates will be calculated as of August 14, 2024, and age relaxation will be provided to candidates according to government regulations.

Eligibility Details
Candidates must fulfil the following educational qualifications to be eligible for the PGT post:
- Candidates must have a Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject from any recognized university in India.
- Candidates must have Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.
- Candidates must have a Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) / School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
