IB JIO Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 394 Posts
The Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has released the official notification for the post of Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical (JIO-II/Tech).
A total of 394 vacancies have been announced under this recruitment. The online application process started on 23rd August 2025, and candidates can apply until 14th September 2025.
Selected candidates will receive a Level-4 pay scale (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) along with government allowances and an additional 20% Special Security Allowance.
This job carries an All India Transfer Liability. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official MHA website or the NCS portal.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications from a Government recognized University/Institute:
- Diploma in Engineering in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Applications. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Electronics / Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications.

How to apply

Then candidates visit the official website mha.gov.in or ncs.gov.in.
Then complete the registration process and get the application sequence number.
Candidates log in their ID and fill the personal, qualification and category details.
Candidates upload their required documents, latest photo and signature.
Pay the application fee of the form online or through SBI challan.
Finally submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
