- Proficiency in Computer Operations/Language (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Computer/IT, or studied Computer/IT as a subject in High School, College, or Institute).
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the local language of the State/UT for which the candidate applies.

Selection Process
The selection process for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 involves:

Both Preliminary and Main exams have a negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question for each wrong answer. No penalty for unanswered questions.
Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
Candidates must choose a local language of the applied State/UT. If proficiency is certified by 10th or higher mark sheet/certificate, LLPT is not required. Otherwise, LLPT will be conducted after the Main Exam/Provisional Allotment but before bank joining. It is a qualifying test, and failure will lead to disqualification. For Rajasthan, the local language is Hindi.
