Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following educational qualifications:

• Essential: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized institution with 4 years of relevant experience.
• (OR)
• Essential: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized institution with 1 year of relevant experience.

Minimum Marks: 70% or 7 CGPA.

Technical Skills Required

Proficiency in the following technical areas is mandatory:

• 3D printing and scanning
• Laser cutting/engraving
• CAD, CAM, & CNC
• Circuit design and prototyping
• Coding, physical computing, and IoT
• Design and Fabrication

Additional Qualification (Desirable)

The following qualifications and experience will be advantageous:

• Hands-on experience in robotics, automation systems, or embedded hardware.
• Familiarity with sensor integration, microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), and basic programming (Python, C/C++).
• Experience in mechanical fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of electromechanical systems.
• Knowledge of ROS / ROS 2, instrument interfacing, or CAD design tools (SolidWorks / AutoCAD).

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 30 years as on the last date of receiving the application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms.

Experience

As mentioned in the educational qualifications, candidates need either 4 years of relevant experience with a Diploma or 1 year of relevant experience with a B.E./B.Tech degree.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on the following stages:

Salary / Pay Scale

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated stipend:

• Stipend: ₹ 30,000 per month
• House Rent Allowance (HRA): 30% of the stipend will be paid in addition, provided no accommodation is provided by the Institute.

The position is purely on a contractual basis for an initial period of 01 year, which may be extended for another 06 months.
