Important Dates

Application Fee

An application fee of ₹550 + 18% GST is applicable for all candidates, payable online via Net Banking, UPI, Credit, or Debit Card. Candidates must submit only one application; multiple registrations will lead to cancellation.

Age Limit

Applicants must be born between 1 July 2005 and 1 January 2010 (both dates inclusive). The maximum age at the time of enrollment should not exceed 22 years.

Educational Qualification

Science Subjects:

• Passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English. OR
• Passed a 3-year Engineering Diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) with a minimum of 50% marks. OR
• Passed a 2-year Vocational Course including Physics and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks.

Other Than Science Subjects:

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. OR
• Passed a 2-year Vocational Course with a minimum of 50% marks.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on an Online Examination, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Adaptability Test, and Medical Examination.

Online Exam Pattern:

• Exam will be bilingual (Hindi and English), except for English questions.
• All questions will be objective type, with 1 mark for each correct answer.
• Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
• State-wise cut-off will be applied, and candidates must pass each paper separately.
• Science Subjects: 60 minutes, Physics, Mathematics, and English (10+2 CBSE Syllabus).
• Other Than Science Subjects: 45 minutes, English and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
• Both Science & Other Subjects (if applicable): 85 minutes.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

Candidates who clear the online examination will be called for PFT. The details are as follows:

Running:

• Male Candidates: 1.6 km run in 7 minutes.
• Female Candidates: 1.6 km run in 8 minutes.

Other Physical Activities:

• Male Candidates:
  • 10 Push-Ups in 1 minute
  • 10 Sit-Ups in 1 minute
  • 20 Squats in 1 minute
• Female Candidates:
  • 10 Sit-Ups in 1 minute 30 seconds
  • 15 Squats in 1 minute

Successful candidates in PFT will undergo two Adaptability Tests, followed by a Medical Examination.

Salary (Pay Scale)

Additional benefits include risk & hardship allowance, dress & travel allowance, ration, accommodation, and Leave Travel Concession (LTC). Agniveers will receive 30 days of annual leave and sick leave as per medical advice. Medical facilities in service hospitals and CSD benefits will also be available. Upon completion of four years of service, Agniveers will receive a Seva Nidhi package of approximately ₹10.04 Lakhs. Agniveer Vayu will also be provided with a non-contributory life insurance cover of ₹48 Lakhs during the service period.
