Note:

Marital Status Rules

Educational Qualification
For Science Stream Candidates
You must have completed any one of the following:
- 12th Pass with Physics, Maths, and English (minimum 50% marks)
- 3-year Diploma in Engineering
- 2-year Vocational Course with Physics and Maths
For Non-Science Stream Candidates
- 12th Pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks OR
- 2-year Vocational Course
Physical & Medical Standards
Height Requirement
- Male: Minimum 152 cm
- Female: Minimum 152 cm
- Relaxation is available for female candidates from hilly and North-East regions.
Other Physical Standards
- Chest expansion (for males): Minimum 5 cm
- Normal hearing ability
- Healthy teeth and gums
- No objectionable tattoos on the body
Vacancy Details
- The number of vacancies will be decided based on service requirements, especially for female candidates.

Agniveer Vayu Selection Process
The selection process will be completed in three stages.
Stage 1 – Online Written परीक्षा
The exam will be objective type.
- For Science candidates: Physics, Maths, English
- For Other streams: English + Reasoning & General Awareness
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
Stage 2 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
1.6 km Run
- Male: Within 7 minutes
- Female: Within 8 minutes
After the run, candidates must complete:
- Push-ups
- Sit-ups
- Squats
All activities must be completed within the given time limit.
Stage 3 – Medical Examination
Candidates who clear Stage 1 and 2 will undergo a medical test, which includes:
- Blood Test
- Urine Test
- X-Ray
- ECG
- Other required medical checks
Salary & Financial Benefits
Agniveer Vayu personnel will receive a fixed monthly package.
