Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has released the Apprentice Recruitment Notification HRDD/APPR/01/2026-27 dated 06.07.2026 under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for 750 Apprentice vacancies. The Chennai-headquartered leading Public Sector Bank invites online applications from eligible candidates through the NATS, NAPS, and BEEP portals from 07 July 2026 to 20 July 2026.

Vacancy Details

Indian Overseas Bank has announced 750 Apprentice vacancies across various States and Union Territories.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• The graduation result must have been declared on or before 31 July 2026.
• For candidates registered under NATS, the graduation result should have been declared between 01 March 2022 and 31 July 2026.

Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)

• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 28 Years (for General/EWS candidates)
• Candidates should have been born between 01 July 1998 and 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive).
• Candidates registered under NAPS should be below 34 years after applying the applicable age relaxation.

Monthly Stipend

Selected apprentices will receive the following monthly stipend for a one-year apprenticeship period based on branch category.

Application Fee

The application fee must be paid online through the BEEP Portal between 07 July 2026 and 22 July 2026. The fee is non-refundable.

Selection Process

Selection for the IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026–27 will be based on:

• Online Examination
• Local Language Test (where applicable)
• Personal Interaction (if decided by the Bank)

Online Written Examination Pattern

Examination Details

• Total Duration: 90 Minutes
• Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying aggregate marks prescribed by the Bank.
• SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates will receive a relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks.
• There are no sectional qualifying marks.

1. Register on the NATS Portal or NAPS Portal before applying.
2. Visit the BFSI SSC Career Portal and open the Career Opportunities section.
3. NATS-registered candidates should log in to the NATS portal and apply for Indian Overseas Bank under "Apply Against Advertised Vacancies."
4. NAPS-registered candidates should search for "Indian Overseas Bank" on the NAPS portal, click View, and then select Apply for this Opportunity.
5. Enter your NATS/NAPS Enrollment Number while filling out the online application form.
6. Apply for only one State/Union Territory, preferably your home State/UT.
