A total of 1524 apprentice positions are available across 11 trade/discipline codes. Candidates can apply for only one trade/discipline per unit. The distribution of vacancies is as follows:

- Gujarat Refinery: 647 seats
- Mathura Refinery: 151 seats
- Paradip Refinery: 582 seats

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The minimum educational qualification varies by trade code and must be a regular full-time course from a recognized Board/University/Institute. Candidates must have passed the prescribed qualification as on 30 June 2026. Candidates with higher professional qualifications like BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA are not eligible.
