IOCL Haldia Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 279 Posts

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Haldia Refinery has released an official notification for the recruitment of 279 Technician and Trade Apprentice posts. Candidates holding B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., Diploma, or ITI qualifications are eligible to apply online.

The online application process has started from 01 July 2026 and will continue until 30 July 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official IOCL website.

Eligibility Criteria

Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant)

• Three-year B.Sc. with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry.

Trade Apprentice – Fitter

• Matriculation with a 2-year ITI certificate in Fitter Trade.

Trade Apprentice – Boiler

• Three-year B.Sc. with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry.

Technician Apprentice – Chemical

• 3-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering.

Technician Apprentice – Mechanical

• 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Technician Apprentice – Electrical

• 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Technician Apprentice – Instrumentation

3-year Diploma in:

• Instrumentation Engineering
• Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering
• Instrumentation & Control Engineering
• Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

Trade Apprentice – Secretarial Assistant

• 3-year B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com.

Trade Apprentice – Accountant

• 3-year B.Com.

Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentice)

• Class 12 (Higher Secondary) Pass.

Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holder)

• Class 12 Pass with a Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 24 Years

Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.

Application Fee

• No Application Fee for any category.

Selection Process

The selection process will primarily consist of Document Verification.
