Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following educational qualifications with a minimum of 50% marks for General, OBC, and EWS categories, and 45% marks for SC and PwBD candidates:

• Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): B.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry)
• Fitter: 10th Pass + ITI in the relevant trade
• Technician Apprentice: 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline
• Secretarial Assistant: B.A./B.Sc./B.Com
• Accountant: B.Com
• Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th Pass
• Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holder): 12th Pass + Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate

Selection Process

The selection process for IOCL Panipat Refinery Apprentice Recruitment 2026 is unique as it does not involve any written examination or interview. Candidates will be selected based on a merit list derived from the marks obtained in their respective academic qualifications. In case of a tie in marks, the older candidate will be given preference.
