IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2026 – Walk in Interview for 84 Posts

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC), South Zone, has released an official notification (No.2026/IRCTC/SZ/HRD/Rectt./Hospitality Monitors dated 01/04/2026) for the recruitment of Hospitality Monitors. A total of 84 vacancies are available for these positions on a contractual basis, initially for 2 years, extendable by 1 year.

IRCTC Hospitality Monitor 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01.04.2026)

• Maximum Age: 27 Years (for UR candidates)
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules

Educational Qualification (Any one of the following full-time courses)

• B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration
• BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under Ministry of Tourism
• B.Sc Hotel Management and Catering Science
• MBA (Tourism & Hotel Management) from UGC/AICTE/Govt. recognized universities (CIHM/SIHM/PIHM/NCHM & CT affiliated)

Experience

• Freshers with relevant educational qualifications can also apply.

Remuneration & Allowances

Selected candidates will receive an attractive remuneration package:

• Consolidated CTC: ₹30,000/- per month
• Daily Allowance: ₹350/- per day (on-board duty in trains)
• Lodging Charges: ₹240/- per night (outstation)
• National Holiday Allowance: ₹384/- per day
• Medical Insurance: ₹1,400–₹2,000 per month (reimbursable)

Selection Process

The selection for IRCTC Hospitality Monitor posts will be based on the following steps:

1. Walk-in Interview
2. Verification of Documents & Credentials
3. Final Merit List based on Interview Performance

How to Apply (Walk-in Interview)

Eligible and interested candidates must appear personally for the Walk-in Interview with a duly filled application form and required documents.

1. Step 1: Download the Application Form from the official notification PDF.
2. Step 2: Fill the application form completely in all respects.
3. Step 3: Carry the filled application form along with original documents + one set of self-attested photocopies and 3 recent passport-size photographs.
4. Step 4: Appear for the Walk-in Interview on any of the scheduled dates (25, 27 or 28 April 2026) between 10:30 AM to 05:30 PM.
5. Step 5: Documents will be verified on the spot, and the interview will be conducted. Selected candidates will be issued an offer letter in order of merit.
