Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), North Zone has announced a recruitment drive for the engagement of 'Tourism Monitors' on a contractual basis. A total of 9 vacancies are available for this position. The distribution of these vacancies is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• For Rs. 30,000/- CTC per month: 3-Years Bachelor's degree in Tourism OR 3-Years Bachelor's degree in any stream + 1-year diploma in Travel & Tourism.
• For Rs. 35,000/- CTC per month: 3-years Bachelor's Degree in any stream + 2-years Post Graduation Degree/Diploma in Travel & Tourism.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit as on 01-09-2026: 35 years for UR.
• Age Relaxation:
• SC/ST applicants: 5 years
• OBC-NCL applicants: 3 years (latest certificate to be attached)
• PwBD applicants: 10 years
• Ex-Serviceman: Up to the extent of service rendered in defense plus 3 years.

Experience

• For Rs. 30,000/- CTC per month: Minimum 01 year working experience in Tour Operation / Travel Agency Firms.
• For Rs. 35,000/- CTC per month: Minimum 02 years working experience in Tour Operation / Travel Agency Firms.

Application Fee

Selection Process

1. Candidates are required to fill the application form completely and submit it at the venue of the walk-in interview.
2. Original documents, one set of attested copies of requisite documents, and two recent passport-size photographs must be carried to the interview venue.
3. The selection will be based on the credentials and performance in the personal interview.
4. Offers of engagement will be issued to suitable candidates in order of merit, subject to verification of antecedents.

The interview will be conducted on the spot, and candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and performance during the personal interview.

Salary / Pay Scale

The engagement is on a contractual basis with a consolidated remuneration. The total Cost to Company (CTC) per month will be as follows:

• Rs. 30,000/- per month (inclusive of statutory deductions and other applicable allowances) for candidates meeting the first set of educational qualifications and experience.
• Rs. 35,000/- per month (inclusive of statutory deductions and other applicable allowances) for candidates meeting the second set of educational qualifications and experience.

In addition to the CTC, candidates may also be eligible for Daily Allowance (Rs. 350/- per day for on-duty on-board in train), Lodging Charges (Rs. 240/- for outstation night stays), National Holiday Allowance (as per extant policy), and Medical Insurance (Rs. 1400 to 2500/- per month, reimbursable).

• Caste certificate supporting SC/ST/OBC category (OBC certificate should be for non-creamy layer and not more than 1-year-old).
• EWS/PwBD certificate, if applicable.
• One set of self-attested photocopy of all above documents along with all originals.
• Proof of Identity & Proof of Address.
• Any other relevant documents.
