ISRO Recruitment 2026: Assistants, J.P.A., UDC, Stenographer Vacancies

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has officially released the ISRO ICRB Recruitment 2026 Notification for the recruitment of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Stenographer posts. A total of 244 vacancies are available across various ISRO Centres and Autonomous Institutions under the Department of Space.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their online applications from 27 July 2026 to 16 August 2026.

Important Dates

Educational Qualification

Assistant / Upper Division Clerk (UDC)

Candidates must possess:

• Graduation from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or 6.32 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
• Good working knowledge of computers.

Junior Personal Assistant (JPA) / Stenographer

Candidates should have:

• Graduation with at least 60% marks or 6.32 CGPA, OR
• Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice.
• One year of experience as a Steno-Typist/Stenographer.
• Minimum English Stenography speed of 60 words per minute.
• Proficiency in computer operations.

Age Limit

Age relaxation is applicable for eligible categories as per Government of India rules.

Application Fee

Fee Refund Policy

Candidates appearing in the Written Test/CBT will receive a refund as per the notification:

• Women
• SC
• ST
• PwBD
• Ex-Servicemen

These categories will receive a full refund of the processing fee. Other candidates will receive a refund after deducting the ₹100 application fee.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive salary under Level-4 of the Pay Matrix, along with applicable allowances and government benefits.

The recruitment process generally includes:

4. Medical Examination
