Eligibility Criteria

Domicile

Candidates must be Domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority, valid on or before the cut-off date of 30.08.2026.

Educational Qualification

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

The minimum age is generally 18 years. The maximum age limits are as follows:

• Open Merit (OM): 40 years
• Reserved Categories (SC, ST-1, ST-2, RBA, ALC/IB, EWS, OBC): 43 years
• Physically Challenged (PwBD): 42 years
