Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc (Agriculture) / B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture from ICAR/AICTE recognised university OR specified B.Tech/B.Sc degrees (e.g., B.Tech Food Science & Technology, B.Sc Sericulture & Cooperation, etc.).
- Age Limit: 40 Years (General Merit), 43 Years (Cat 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B), 45 Years (SC/ST/Cat-1). Age relaxation applicable as per rules.
- Other Conditions: Must be registered on OTR portal. Kannada language proficiency required.
Application Fee:
- General & Other Categories: ₹750/-
- SC / ST / Category-1 / Ex-Servicemen / Transgender: ₹500/-
- PwD (Special Differently Abled): ₹250/-

Selection Process:
Kannada Language Test (qualifying) followed by a Written Exam (Offline OMR Objective Type - 2 papers). Minimum 35% marks required in the written exam.
Remuneration:
- Agriculture Officer: ₹69,250 - ₹1,34,200 (2024 Revised Pay Scale)
- Assistant Agriculture Officer: ₹65,950 - ₹1,24,900 (2024 Revised Pay Scale)
- Plus DA, HRA and other allowances. 2-year probation period. NPS applicable.
