Eligibility Criteria
1. Driver — 385 Posts
- Must have passed Class 9 from a recognised institution.
- Must hold a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving licence with the required heavy-goods and heavy-passenger vehicle endorsements.
- Generally, at least seven years must have elapsed since obtaining a motor vehicle licence, including at least three years holding an HMV licence. The notification provides an exception for eligible ex-servicemen.
- Must meet the prescribed eyesight, medical fitness and physical standards.
2. Conductor — 345 Posts
- Must have passed Class 10.
- Must hold a valid conductor licence under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

3. Driver-cum-Conductor — 310 Posts

- Must hold a valid heavy-vehicle driving licence.
