Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Each post has specific essential educational qualifications, ranging from 10th pass for Junior Driver to Graduate with CA/ICWA Intermediate for Accountant. Many technical posts require ITI certificates or Diplomas in relevant trades, often coupled with specific licenses (e.g., HMV license for drilling/mechanic posts, Wireman certificate for Electrician).

A minimum of 45% marks in the essential qualification is generally required, unless otherwise specified. Higher qualifications without the essential qualification will not be considered. Post-qualification experience, where required, will be counted from after passing the essential qualification.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for all posts is 30 years for UR/EWS candidates as of 01.09.2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC-NCL: 3 years
• PwD: 10 years (General), 15 years (SC/ST), 13 years (OBC-NCL)
• Ex-Servicemen: As per GoI guidelines
• Retrenched ex-contingent workmen of MECL: Up to 20 years

Nationality

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. Essential educational qualifications must be from an Indian University/Institute recognized by AICTE, UGC, or the Government of India.

Application Fee

An application fee of Rs. 500/- is applicable for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC, ST, PwD, Ex-Serviceman, and Departmental candidates are exempted from paying the fee. The fee is payable online through the application portal.

Selection Process

The selection process for all Non-Executive posts will be conducted at Nagpur and involves multiple stages:

1. Screening of Applications: Initial segregation of eligible and non-eligible applications.
2. Written Test (100% weightage): Conducted by an external agency. Cut-off marks are 50% for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS and 45% for SC/ST.
3. Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted from the written test (up to 1:7 ratio per vacancy) will be called for document verification.
4. Skill Test / Trade Test (Qualifying in nature): An internal committee will assess candidates as "Suitable" or "Not Suitable". This stage does not contribute to the final merit.
5. Final Merit List: Based solely on the Written Test marks among candidates found "Suitable" in the Skill/Trade Test.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in IDA pay scales. The pay ranges from Rs. 19,600-47,900 (Grade W-3, Junior Driver) to Rs. 22,900-55,900 (Grade W-7, Accountant). Most Non-Executive posts fall under Grade W-4 with a pay scale of Rs. 20,200-49,300. In addition to Basic Pay, employees receive IDA, HRA, Perks & Allowances, PF, Group Performance Related Incentive, Group Medical Insurance, NPS, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Group Term Insurance, vehicle loan, and House Building Advance as per company rules.
