MECON Limited, a Premier Mini Ratna Schedule “A” Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, has released the MECON Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 notification. Online applications are invited to fill up 24 Non-Executive vacancies in regular scale of pay for the posts of Accountant, Assistant (HR), Assistant (Administration) and Assistant (Secretarial Service).

Vacancy Details:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Accountant: Intermediate of ICAI (Chartered Accountants) OR ICMAI (Cost Accountants). No experience required.
• Assistant (HR) / Assistant (Administration) / Assistant (Secretarial Service): BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration). Basic knowledge of computer is preferable.
• Age Limit (as on 03.03.2026): Maximum 28 years. Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India / MECON rules for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD/Ex-Servicemen.

Salary:

S-6 Grade: ₹27,710 – 3% – ₹53,590

Selection Process:

• Computer Based Test (CBT) – 100 Marks (Objective Type)
• Document Verification (DV)

• SC / ST / PwD / Ex-Servicemen / Internal Candidates: ₹625/-
