Eligibility Criteria

Educational & Technical Qualification

  • Basic Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • CPCT Requirement: CPCT Score Card exam passed from MAP-IT or any other MP Government recognized agency.
  • Computer Diploma: One-year Diploma course in Computer Application from an institution recognized by the MP Government.

Important: All qualifications must be obtained on or before the last date of online application.

Citizenship

The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years for MP & other-state male candidates (Unreserved) and MP state male candidates (EWS).
  • 45 years for MP state male & female candidates (OBC/SC/ST), MP state government employees, home guards, all women (MP & other states), and all PwD candidates.

Age Relaxation

Age relaxation is applicable as per MP Government rules for various categories, including Ex-servicemen and contractual employees of MP High Court/District Courts.

Note: Reservation and maximum-age relaxation provisions apply only to original residents of Madhya Pradesh. Candidates from outside MP must apply under the "Unreserved" category.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the 7th Pay Commission:

  • Pay Matrix: ₹19,500 – ₹62,000

Selection Process

The selection process for Assistant Grade-III involves two stages:

  1. Stage 1: Online Preliminary Examination (100 Marks) Subjects: G.K. + G.S. (incl. MP GK), Maths + Logical Reasoning, General Hindi, English Knowledge, Computer Knowledge.
  2. Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours), MCQ format.
  3. Qualifying nature; marks are not carried forward to the final result.
  4. Stage 2: Hindi Typing Skill Test (50 Marks) Conducted on computer in Remington Gail keyboard layout (unrestricted mode).
  5. Minimum qualifying marks: 55% for General & OBC, 45% for SC, 40% for ST & PwD, 49.5% for EWS.
  6. A separate portal charge of ₹743.40 must be paid by successful prelim candidates for the typing test.

In case of a tie, preference is given to the candidate with higher age.

Candidates must apply online through the official website www.mphc.gov.in. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit www.mphc.gov.in.
  2. Click on "Recruitment/Result" → "Click on Online Application Forms/Admit Cards".
  3. Select the Assistant Grade-III recruitment.
  4. Read the Advertisement carefully.
  5. Click "Registration" and fill in details to get User-ID and Password.
  6. Log in via "Application", complete the form, and upload photograph and signature.
  7. Preview and Submit the form.
  8. Pay the prescribed application fee online.
  9. Download and print the application form for future reference.
  10. Use the "Edit Application" link only during the notified correction window (19–21 September 2026) for application form errors.

It is advised to complete the application and fee payment well before the last date to avoid technical issues.
