MPESB Constable Vacancy 2026: A Golden Opportunity in Madhya Pradesh Police!

Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has announced a significant recruitment drive for Constable (General Duty) posts within the Madhya Pradesh Police. Vacancy Details

Note: Non-SAF posts are open to eligible male and female candidates. SAF Constable GD posts are exclusively for male candidates. Candidates not domiciled in Madhya Pradesh can apply only in the unreserved / open category.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 06 October 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 33 years

Age relaxation will be applicable as per MPESB / Government of Madhya Pradesh rules.

Educational Qualification

• For General/OBC/SC Candidates: Matriculation (10th Class) Pass from a recognized board.
• For ST Candidates: 8th Class Pass from a recognized board.

Candidates must also meet the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) standards.

• 800 m Run (40 marks): Male under 124.2 seconds, Female under 176 seconds
• Long Jump (30 marks): Male more than 5.57 m, Female more than 4.36 m
• Shot Put (30 marks): Male more than 8.76 m (7.26 kg), Female more than 7.20 m (4.00 kg)

Selection Process

The selection for MPESB Constable posts will involve a multi-stage process:

1. Written Examination (scheduled from 19 November 2026)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
3. Medical Examination
4. Document Verification

How to Apply for MPESB Constable Recruitment 2026

Eligible candidates must apply online through the MPESB portal between 22 September 2026 and 06 October 2026 (11:59 PM). Follow these steps:

1. Carefully read the detailed Constable GD notification to confirm your eligibility regarding qualification, age, domicile, PST/PET standards, and post preference (Non-SAF/SAF) as on 06.10.2026.
2. Visit the official MPESB website (https://esb.mp.gov.in) and initiate the registration process once the Constable 2026 apply link is activated.
3. Fill in all required personal, educational, and category details. Upload your photograph, signature, and any necessary certificates.
4. Proceed to pay the application fee along with the applicable portal charges through online mode or via an authorized kiosk. Submit your application form before the deadline of 06 October 2026, 11:59 PM.
5. If required, utilize the application correction window available until 11 October 2026. Download your admit card when it is released for the written exam commencing on 19 November 2026.
