Age Limit Details

🔹 Date for Age Calculation:

  • The age will be calculated as on 01 January 2025.

🔹 Minimum Age Limit:

  • For Class-II posts: 21 years
  • For Class-III and Class-IV posts: 18 years

Selection Process

1. Basis of Selection

  • Candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  • The CBT will have 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark.
  • Minimum qualifying marks: 25%.
  • Post-wise syllabus will be published separately.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (Only for Line Attendant / Substation Attendant / Surveyor Trainee)

  • A list of candidates up to 3 times the number of vacancies will be called for the physical test.
  • Candidates must walk 1 km carrying 15 kg weight within 10 minutes.
  • If a candidate fails the physical test, no second attempt will be allowed.

3. Nature of Work

  • Selected candidates will be required to perform tasks such as maintenance of power lines/substations, digging, material handling, construction of high-voltage lines, etc.
  • Training in Hot Line and Bare Hand techniques will be provided where required.

4. Merit List & Waiting List

  • Merit list will be prepared category-wise (including reserved categories).
  • The waiting list will be valid for 1 year, subject to the company’s requirements.
  • The recruitment process can be closed anytime before 1 year by official order.

5. Tie-breaking Criteria (if two or more candidates score equal marks)

  • Priority will be given to Divyang candidates as per MP Govt. norms.
  • Older candidates (by Date of Birth) will be preferred.
  • If DOB is also the same, the one with higher qualifying exam marks will be preferred.
  • If still equal, preference will go to the candidate with higher marks in Class 10.

Computer-Based Test (CBT) Guidelines

  1. The CBT will be conducted in various cities across Madhya Pradesh.
  2. Candidates must choose preferred exam cities while filling the online form (no change allowed later).
  3. Exam city will be allotted based on availability and company’s decision.
  4. Exam center details will be mentioned in the e-admit card.
  5. Electronic devices (smartwatch, phone, books, etc.) are strictly prohibited at exam centers.
  6. Alcohol or any intoxicants are strictly banned; such candidates will not be allowed entry.
  7. The company reserves the right to add/remove/modify exam centers or cities without prior notice.
