Eligibility Criteria for MSC Bank Recruitment 2026

Eligibility requirements, including educational qualifications and age limits, vary by post. All candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination with Marathi as one of the subjects and must be domiciled in Maharashtra State (Domicile Certificate is mandatory). 1. Trainee Junior Officer (49 Posts)

• Education: Graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Preference for Law graduates, JAIIB/CAIIB/MSCIT certifications, or experience in Treasury/International Banking.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Banking field, preferably as an Officer in Urban/DCC Bank.
• Age Limit: Minimum 23 years – Maximum 35 years (born not earlier than 01 June 1991).

2. Trainee Associate (81 Posts)

• Education: Graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Preference for Government Commercial Certificate in Marathi and English typing; proficiency in Computer Applications required.
• Experience: Not mandatory; preference for candidates with Co-operative Intern experience.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years – Maximum 32 years (born not earlier than 01 June 1994).

3. Trainee Typist – Associate Grade (04 Posts)

• Education: Graduate in any discipline with Marathi in Matriculation. Must possess Government Commercial Certificate Exam – 30 w.p.m. in Marathi typing and 40 w.p.m. in English typing. Proficiency in Word Processing and Spread Sheet required.
• Experience: Not mandatory; preference for DTP Operator experience or Marathi/English stenography course holders.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years – Maximum 28 years (born not earlier than 01 June 1998).

4. Trainee Driver (05 Posts)

• Education: Matriculation (S.S.C.) Examination with Marathi as one of the subjects and a valid LMV licence.
• Experience: Not mandatory.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years – Maximum 30 years (born not earlier than 01 June 1996).
• Special relaxation: Children of MSC Bank employees get 5 years relaxation on maximum age.

Salary / Stipend & Pay Scale

Selected candidates will undergo 12 months of training with a monthly stipend. After successful training, they will be placed in the Bank's regular grade with revised emoluments, followed by a 6-month probation period.

Selection Process for MSC Bank Recruitment 2026

The selection process includes an online written examination conducted by IBPS, followed by post-specific stages. Candidates must score at least 50% in the written test to be shortlisted for the next round.

A. Trainee Junior Officer

• Online Written Examination by IBPS (160 Questions, 200 Marks, 120 Minutes)

• Final merit based on combined scores of Exam + Interview

Exam is in English only. Negative marking applies (1/4 or 1/5 penalty).

B. Trainee Associate

C. Trainee Typist (Associate Grade)

Phase I – Online Exam by IBPS

Phase II – Skill Test (Typing Test): Candidates qualifying Phase I with 100 marks must appear for a typing skill test. Final merit is based on the Skill Test result.

D. Trainee Driver

• Online Written Test by IBPS (120 Questions, 120 Marks, 90 Minutes) – Bilingual (English & Marathi) except General English section
• Personal Interview / Driving Test by MSC Bank

Examination Centres

The online written test will be held at centres across Maharashtra: Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Thane / MMR Region, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nanded, and Kolhapur. Personal Interview and Skill Test will be held at Mumbai.

Service Bond / Consent Deposit

Selected candidates must execute an undertaking on Rs. 500/- stamp paper to serve MSC Bank for a minimum of 4 years. In case of default, voluntary resignation, or termination before 4 years, the candidate must pay Rs. 10,00,000/- (Ten Lakh) as liquidated damages and execute a surety bond for Rs. 1,00,000/- from two income tax payees as sureties.
