Selected candidates will be posted in the Alipurduar, Katihar, Rangiya, Lumding or Tinsukia Divisions, or at the NF Railway Headquarter.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Level 3 or 2: Passed Class 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent from a Government-recognized Board/Council/Institution.
• Level 1: Passed Class 10th (Matriculation) or ITI or equivalent, or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

For Technician-III posts filled against Sports Quota, the minimum qualification is Class 10th pass.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2027)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years

Selection Process

Selection is based on a 100-mark merit list comprising a Sports Trial and an Interview.

• Candidates scoring 25 or more out of 40 in the Trial are declared "FIT" and proceed to the Interview stage.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 65 for Level-3 and Level-2 posts, and 60 for Level-1 posts.
