NFR Sports Quota Vacancy 2025: Apply for 56 Posts
Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), Guwahati has released Employment Notification No. 03/2025 for Sports Quota Recruitment 2025-26.
The recruitment includes positions from Level 1 to Level 5, with a total of 56 vacancies. Outstanding sportspersons in various disciplines, including weightlifting, will be appointed under this drive.
The online application process has started from 16 September 2025 and will remain open until 15 October 2025.

Important Notes
1. Educational qualification must be from a Govt. recognized Board/Council/Institution.
2. For Technician-III posts under Sports Quota, minimum qualification is Class 10th Pass.
- Training period: 3 years (if no ITI).
- Training period: 6 months (if ITI passed in relevant trade).
3. Proof of Age such as HS/Matriculation Certificate issued by a recognized board must be uploaded with the application.

Selection Process
- Sports Trials – Skills, fitness, coach observation (40 marks)
- Interview & Document Assessment – Achievements (50 marks), Academics (10 marks)
- Final merit list will be prepared based on 100 marks.
- Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks will be shortlisted for appointment.
