NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a prominent subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has released Advertisement No. 02/26 inviting applications from experienced professionals. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 114 vacancies for the positions of Assistant Engineer - RE (Asset Management/Operation & Maintenance) and Deputy General Manager - RE.

These positions are crucial for NGEL's ambitious goal of achieving 60 GW of installed renewable capacity by 2032. Selected candidates will be posted at NGEL's Corporate Office, Stations, Sites, Clusters, JVs, and subsidiaries across India.

Assistant Engineer - RE (Asset Management/Operation & Maintenance) (E-0 Grade) - 100 Posts

Deputy General Manager - RE (E-6 Grade) - 14 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Assistant Engineer - RE (E-0 Grade): Fulltime Regular Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation) with minimum 10 years of post-qualification site experience in the Power Sector, including at least 6 years in 50 MW or more grid-connected Solar and/or Wind Project (O&M/Asset Management).
• Deputy General Manager - RE (E-6 Grade): Fulltime Graduate in Engineering (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Civil/Mechanical) with a minimum of 60% marks (passing marks for SC, ST & PwBD). 
• Minimum 12 years of post-qualification executive-cadre experience in the Power Sector, including at least 10 years with a Renewable Energy Developer of Solar and/or Wind Projects, and minimum 2 years of site experience in a 50 MW or more grid-connected project (Construction/Erection/Commissioning).

Age Limit (as on 31-07-2026)

• Assistant Engineer - RE (E-0 Grade): Upper Age Limit 40 years
• Deputy General Manager - RE (E-6 Grade): Upper Age Limit 44 years

Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years), and Ex-servicemen as per Government guidelines.

Salary / Pay Scale

• Assistant Engineer - RE (E-0 Grade): Pay scale of ₹30,000 - ₹1,20,000 (Initial Basic Pay ₹40,000)
• Deputy General Manager - RE (E-6 Grade): Pay scale of ₹90,000 - ₹2,40,000 (Initial Basic Pay ₹90,000)

Other benefits like Dearness Allowance, perquisites, allowances, and terminal benefits are admissible as per company rules.

Selection Process

NGEL reserves the right to implement a multi-stage selection process, which may include:
