NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 361 Posts
NHPC Limited, a premier Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has released an official notification for the recruitment of 361 Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentices.
The apprenticeship will be for a duration of one year, and selection will be done purely on a merit basis.

Age Limit
The candidate must be at least 18 years old and not more than 30 years of age. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per Government of India guidelines.

Selection Process
There will be no interview. Selection will be done purely on merit basis, calculated using the following weightage:
Merit Weightage Criteria:

🔸 In case both 12th and Diploma are available, the one with higher marks will be considered.
Preference in Selection
- First preference: Candidates from Project Affected Families of the respective Project/Power Station/Unit.
- Second preference: Candidates from the local district(s) where the Project/Unit is located.
- Third preference: Candidates from the State/UT where the Project/Unit is located.
- Fourth preference: If vacancies remain, selection will be based on merit for candidates from other States/UTs.

- Graduate/Diploma candidates: Register at NATS portal
- Complete your profile and upload all necessary documents.

- Go to Careers > Engagement of Apprentice > Apply Now
- Fill the online application form and upload required documents
- Note: Applications will be accepted only through the official NHPC website.

- Copy of NATS/NAPS registration form
- Scanned educational certificates and mark sheets (clear and legible)
- Proof of age (10th class certificate)
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL if applicable)
- Recent passport-size photo and signature
Selection Information
- The list of selected candidates will be published on NHPC’s website.
- Contract details will be shared via registered email.
- Selected candidates must accept the offer and digitally sign the contract on the respective portal (NATS/NAPS).
