There is NO application fee for this recruitment. It is a walk-in interview process.
NVS Teaching and Non Teaching Selection Process 2026
The selection for NVS Shillong Region Contractual Recruitment 2026 will be based on the following:
- Walk-in Interview: Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in academic qualifications + experience weightage + Personal Interaction (total weightage as per post). Detailed weightage criteria for education, experience and personal interaction are given in the official notification.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will have to produce all original documents/certificates for verification at the time of walk-in interview.
NVS Shillong Teaching and Non Teaching Recruitment 2026 Documents Required
Candidates must bring the following at the time of walk-in interview:
- Original certificates & mark sheets, experience certificates, one set of self-attested photocopies, one recent passport-size photograph and photo ID proof (Voter ID / Aadhaar / Driving License etc.).
- Note: Registration form (Annexure-A) must be submitted via email before the last date. Formats for experience certificates (Annexure-B, C, D) are prescribed in the notification.
- Photo & Signature: Recent passport-size photograph to be affixed on registration form / brought for interview.
How to Apply for NVS Teaching and Non Teaching Recruitment 2026
- Download and fill the Registration Form (Annexure-A).
- Submit the filled registration form (without documents) via email to the concerned Venue Principal between 13.04.2026 and 28.04.2026.
- Venue Principal will allot date & time for walk-in interview (06.05.2026 to 09.05.2026) and inform via email by 01.05.2026.
- Appear for walk-in interview on the allotted date with all original documents, self-attested photocopies, experience certificates and one passport-size photograph.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- No documents to be uploaded with registration form; all originals must be produced at the time of walk-in interview.
- Candidates found ineligible during document verification will not be allowed to appear for personal interaction.
- Engagement is purely contractual and temporary; no claim for regular appointment or extension.
- Contract staff must stay in the Vidyalaya campus and perform duties at par with regular staff.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.
