Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, has released a Special Recruitment Drive notification for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). This drive aims to fill 49 backlog/shortfall vacancies in Grade III and Grade VII posts at Field Headquarters, Duliajan. The recruitment is specifically for PwBD candidates from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Vacancy Details:

A total of 49 PwBD backlog/shortfall vacancies are announced for Grade III and Grade VII posts.

PwBD Category-wise Breakup (Grade III + Grade VII): Category a: 14, Category b: 17, Category c: 0, Category d&e: 18.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Junior Technician (Electronics Mechanic): Class 10 + Trade Certificate in Electronics Mechanic (NCVT/SCVT)
• Junior Technician (Fitter): Class 10 + Trade Certificate in Fitter (NCVT/SCVT)
• Junior Technician (Instrument Mechanic): Class 10 + Trade Certificate in Instrument Mechanic (NCVT/SCVT)
• Junior Technician (Surveyor): Class 10 + Trade Certificate in Surveyor (NCVT/SCVT)
• Junior Office Assistant: 10+2 + Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application (min. 06 months)
• Junior Engineer (Electrical): Class 10 + 3 Years Diploma in Electrical Engg. + Valid Electrical Supervisor Competency Certificate (Parts 1,2,3 & 4)

Note: Only PwBD candidates from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are eligible.

Age Limit (as on 08-06-2026):

• General: 40 years
• SC/ST: 45 years
• OBC (NCL): 43 years

PwBD candidates get 10 years relaxation over and above category-wise relaxation.

Application Fee:

All PwBD Candidates are exempted from application fee (Nil).

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification. There is no interview.

• CBT Structure: Section A (General English & GK/Awareness + Questions on OIL - 20 Marks), Section B (Reasoning, Arithmetic/Numerical & Mental Ability - 20 Marks), Section C (Domain/Technical Knowledge - 60 Marks). Total 100 Marks.
• Duration: 2 Hours 40 Minutes (including 40 minutes compensatory time for PwBD)
• Qualifying Marks: 40 out of 100
• Negative Marking: No
